As the water runs over the beach in a shallow tide pool of shells and sand fragments, my camera’s shutter speed perfectly captured the flow of water, creating this colorful ripple of reflection and shapes. The kaleidoscope-like effect makes the subject appear abstract in composition, but it is photorealistic representation makes it a wonder to view and get lost within its puzzling detail.
